Sports writers, college and high school coaches and parents agree that the B-D Camps turn out the best trained and most confident young players. For camps designed specifically to teach the fundamentals and show how to drill each technique, then a B-D camp is for you. Read further about each camp available.

DESIGNED FOR:

Middle school students grades 5-8 looking to improve his techniques and build confidence in a very intense educationally rewarding experience.

CAMP PURPOSE:

To develop specific techniques, mechanics  and schemes in positions of Quarterback, Wide Reciever, Running Back, Tight End, Linebacker (Inside & Outside), Defensive Backs (Corners & Safeties), Offensive  Lineman and Defensive Lineman. A more extensive curriculum for each position can be found in the  “About” section of this website in our Brochures. STRUCTURE:

Each session consists of 9 practice “Opportunities”, spread over 4 days on college campuses. Players are housed in college dorms and they are fed in their dining facilities.  A typical day begins at 7:00 a.m. and ends at 10:45 p.m.  The objectives at this camp include providing exhaustive technique instruction for all positions through both video and on-field coaching, development of positive attitude & confidence, flexibility instruction and foot speed development.

DESIGNED FOR:

High school teams looking for a space to work on their offensive and defensive schemes as a unit over the course of 7 opportunities.  Players will also have the opportunity to work with an experienced staff of college coaches for individual fundamental improvement.

CAMP PURPOSE:

To improve the players’ skills at every position within a team setting.  To allow coaches the opportunity to work with their own players in both teaching and competition settings that allow for player growth and understanding of each team’s offensive and defensive schemes.  To allow players the opportunity to work at the skills and techniques that their coaches are reinforcing.

STRUCTURE:

Each session consists of 7 practice “Opportunities”, spread over 3 days.  Within each opportunity there will be position teaching periods coordinated by college coaches.  Teams will have the opportunity for individual work time, as well as competition periods with other schools.

NEW IN 2017: 1-DAY HIGH SCHOOL KICKING SCHOOL

The 1-Day Kicking School features a full day of technique work in both kicking and punting.  All areas of kicking will be taught, including kickoffs, extra points, and field goal work.  The school will be led by Indiana Hall of Fame coach Nick Mourouzis, who has been coaching college kickers for over 40 years.

The Kicking School will include 3 2-hour “Opportunities” on the turf game field of DePauw University, and will also include lunch and dinner, and individual film study.  All ability levels are welcome, as the focus of the school is technique improvement and skill development.
