Middle School Camps

This camp is for Middle School  and Junior High age players in all football positions entering grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 in the fall of 2017. It is our 19th year of running these camps for the purpose of getting these young players “Jacked Up” about playing the greatest game on the planet. We drill techniques and fundamentals for every position and the coach to player ratio never exceeds 10 to 1. We guarantee that the camper will return home better prepared and more confident in his ability to play both of his positions chosen at our camp.  In addition, we provide both flexibility instruction and speed development.  A more detailed curriculum can be found for each position in the “About” section of this website in our Brochures.

In 2016 there were over 600 total campers attending the 4 sessions on high school and college campuses of University of Indianapolis,  DePauw University,  Evansville Reitz High School and Taylor University.  In the summer of 2017, we will have 4 camps on the following campuses:  University of Indianapolis, DePauw University, Taylor University and Evansville Reitz High School.  NOTE: WE WILL HAVE A COMMUTER OPTION AT EVANSVILLE REITZ HIGHSCHOOL.  CLICK ON “COMMUTER CAMP” FOR MORE INFORMATION which will include a typical day for the commuter option. A typical day for the over-night option is detailed to the right.
The players are housed in college dorm rooms and they eat in the college dining halls. All players bring there own helmets and shoulder pads (players from Michigan and Ohio are not required to wear shoulder pads but we do ask that they bring helmets) and there is some upper body contact in drills. We are a work camp and this 4 day, nine practice opportunity camp is a  very inspiring and fun filled learning experience.

Players are size, age and ability grouped and taking players to the ground in contact drills is not allowed. Players are grouped by position and each player selects both an offensive and a defensive position.

The coaching staffs are composed of College and High School coaches and College players who were former Bishop Dullaghan camp attendees.

All of the techniques taught and many drills used at our camps are available on professionally, produced Videos for purchase and download in the Training Videos section on this website.  It is highly recommended campers review these techniques and drills before and after camp.  We believe this will optimize the learning experience for each position.

A more extensive curriculum for each position can be found in the  “About” section of this website in our Brochures. Check out our Facebook  page or Youtube channel to see whats going on!
